Aryna Sabalenka
Sabalenka was born in Belarus in Minsk. The father of her Sergey (d. in 2019) was an Ice hockey player. Aryna Sabalenka was born in Minsk, Belarus on May 5th of 1998. In her career she has won twelve WTA singles titles, including the Grand Slam at the 2023 Australian Open. As a doubles player, she's an excellent player. She's won two Majors with Elise Mertens, The US Open in 2019 and the Australian Open in 2021. It was the Sunshine Double was achieved by Elise Mertens and her in 2019. They both won WTA 1000s at Indian Wells & Miami. Only four women's doubles couples win this title. The world's singles ranking rose again to its highest position in January 2023. However, in doubles she climbed to the top spot due to her triumph in Melbourne in February the following year. She was coached by the former Russian tennis star Dmitry Tursunov from 2018 until the conclusion of the 2019 season, and partially at the start of 2020. Dieter Kindlmann was her coach for a short time in August of 2020 until September. Antonio Dubrov has been her coach since the year 2020. Serena Williams, and Maria Sharapova are her idols.
